This is a Japanese-language magazine about anime.

One of the top monthly anime magazines, Newtype features color spreads on several of the season’s latest anime shows, plus articles on other ongoing anime series, broadcast schedules, interviews, news on upcoming CD and DVD releases, and ads for anime-related goodies. This issue spotlights Gundam 00 and Rebuild of Evangelion: Preface; other anime covered include Clannad, Rental Magica, D.C.II, Juushin Enbu, Dragonaut -The Resonance-, Bamboo Blade, Ghost Hound, and more. Included with this issue are a “Lucky Star” poster, a full-color “Gundam 00” booklet, a foldable “Code Geass” Memories Rebellion Box printed on card stock, and a “Clamp in Wonderland 2” fold-out poster.
