This is a Japanese-language magazine about anime.

One of Japan’s top monthly anime magazines, Newtype features color spreads on several of the season’s latest anime shows, plus articles on other ongoing anime series, broadcast schedules, interviews, news on upcoming CD and DVD releases, ads for anime-related goodies, and more! This issue spotlights Gundam 00 Second Season and the Evangelion 02: You Can (Not) Advance film planned for Summer ’09, Code Geass R2; other anime covered include Kannagi, Clannad After Story, Ga-Rei: Zero, Toradora!, Toaru Majutsu no Index, Jigoku Shoujo Mitsuganae, Hyakko, Soul Eater, Mouryou no Hako, Kuroshitsuji, Michiko to Hatchin, Yozakura Quartet, and more. Among this issue’s goodies are the booklets “New World, New Creations: Mobile Suite Gundam 00 Second Season” and “All Around of Code Geass,” and cut-out Gundam 00 present boxes featuring illustrations by Yun Kouga.
