This softcover volume is devoted to two robot series that telegraphed Yoshiyuki Tomino’s later success with “Gundam”: the sometimes-grim “Zambot 3” (1977) and often-silly “Daitarn 3” (1978)! Includes episode guides, character and mecha design drawings, interviews with key staff, and a look at merchandise produced for these fondly remembered shows. Mostly black and white; all text is in Japanese.
